Guillem Trestle
The trestle is a objecte that we have always found interesting because of its simpleness and versatility. Our friend the design historian Guillem celada told us about the local tradition of designing trestle. For him the trestle is a flickering object and therefor it has to be foldable, compactable or stackable.
Architect Federico Correa described the elegance as “going unnoticed in the subway and stand out at the Opera”. With this trestle we wanted just the opposite: an object that fits in fancy places despite being humble and simple and stand out in its native environment: work and utilitarian domestic spaces.
